Dragon’s Lair Bookkeeping was named for the idea that a dragon protects business “treasure chests” with high-quality security measures that protect the integrity and confidentiality of a business’ financial information. Since 2023, Dragon’s Lair Bookkeeping has been providing professional bookkeeping services to local small businesses and non-profits.

I’m Ildiko Herrick, and I got into bookkeeping because I’ve always loved numbers, organization, and education. My former career was as a research chemist and college chemistry instructor, and I learned how to dig for answers when questions come up. This has been a valuable skill in accounting, as tax laws regularly shift the rules for business bookkeeping.
One area where I have considerable experience is in the Colorado sales tax system, as listed under the “Services” tab. I am comfortable in either the Revenue Online or SUTS systems, as well as the various cities’ MuniRevs software.
Some industries I’ve worked with include:

- Service Industries
Industries that I do not work in include residential and commercial construction and home building; I have great bookkeepers to refer to in case that’s your business, though.
